This is a fangame made with passion and love for Cave Story. The story focus requires you to have atleast played Cave Story first, so you should do that, unless you did and know about the true ending.

Story

You are a newcomer mage who travelled to Raflessia, a kingdom where other mages and humans without magical traits coexist. Jenka, the witch, took you in to help you learn magic properly, with Balrog assisting in.

However, things don't look right as Ballos, Jenka's brother, goes missing. As such, Jenka goes to look for him and you are tasked to investigate a basement with the help of Balrog as a test of skill...

Features

• Gameplay heavily influenced by the likes of Etrian Odyssey and 7th Dragon.
• Customize your playable character, with 4 colors and 2 hairstyles. Also, you don't really need to pick a gender or anything since you'll get neutral pronouns (saves on time writing!).
• Several hours of gameplay with challenging combat, puzzles, tons of items to collect and sell to buy more items at the shop, three side quests (planning to add more!) and much more content soon in the future.
• Multiple dungeons to explore and conquer. One of them is a literal dungeon, in fact.
• 200 90 powerful enemies to slay.
• Very dangerous F.O.E. encounters. You might know what this is, but if you don't, you can figure it out in-game.
• Challenging boss battles.
• Some small cameos and/or references.
• Multiple difficulties to fit your skill level, such as Expert (the default), Casual (A more modern-suited difficulty) and Picnic (For the book readers).
• Traditional but fast turn-based combat, with customized skill learning.
• Lots of skills to learn and improve.
• New soundtrack alongside other classic Cave Story tracks.
• TWO soundtrack styles, pick it with the jukebox. Organya or Modern.
• 3 party members to accompany you in this journey, with their own skills.
• New Game+ for people who enjoyed the demo, plus a bonus.
